2 note when declaring C / O via ASEAN Mechanism (ASW)

On December 28, Nguyen Tran Hieu, a correspondent with the Customs Newspaper, said that the above two issues are closely linked with the interests of enterprises when declaring C / O. Form D via ASW.

According to Nguyen Tran Hieu, Vietnam and Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore are actively exchanging information on C / O Form D to finalize and unify the criteria before implementation. The exchange of information is done quickly.

On the official implementation of the ASW, Nguyen Tran Hieu said: With the authorization of the Government, on September 4, 2015, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung on behalf of the Government signed the Protocol on the framework ASW legal practice and Vietnam is the last member country to sign the protocol in the form of an alternate sign.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Protocol and the provisions of the Law on Signing, Accession and Implementation of Treaties; Concerning the completion of domestic legal procedures for the Protocol to take effect, the Ministry of Finance is consulting with Government members to submit to the Government for consideration and submission to the President for ratification of the Protocol.

"When the Protocol is ratified by Vietnam and its member countries, the ASEAN Single Window will be officially implemented. And as committed in the protocol, the deadline for official ASW deployment in March 2016, "- said Nguyen Tran Hieu.

Currently, ASW has been technically connected between five countries in the region: Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.
